Michael Bombardiere 
General Manager


Michael Bombardiere commenced his professional career as a Claims Analyst at GIO Workers Compensation. Michael managed all aspects of workers compensation claims for NSW Government clients under the NSW Treasury Managed Fund.

As a result of his success at GIO Workers Compensation, Michael progressed to a Senior Injury Claims Coordinator position at CGU Workers Compensation. At CGU Workers Compensation, Michael assisted clients in pest control, manufacturing, recruitment/temp agencies and telecommunications improve their claims performance and reduce workers compensation premium costs.

His enjoyment of assisting clients achieve improved performance in workers compensation led Michael to the position of Account Manager with Willis Australia. Michael assisted large clients across a broad range of industries manage their workplace risks (safety and workers compensation) to achieve improved people, compliance and financial outcomes.

In 2007, Michael joined one of his clients (ComfortDelGro Cabcharge) as the Human Resources and Safety Manager. As the first Human Resources Manager at ComfortDelGro Cabcharge, Michael developed the Human Resources System. To support the substantial growth of the business, Michael grew the human resources function and managed a team of 7 human resources and safety staff.

Through his achievements in development of the human resources function, enhancements to the health and safety performance of the business and significant improvements in workers compensation results, Michael was elevated to the position of Group Human Resources Manager.

Michael is highly skilled in all areas of human resources, workplace health and safety, workers compensation and holds a Masters of Human Resources Management and Industrial Relations from Sydney University.
